Oh, the toddler years! Yes, say &quot;no&quot; gently. But it&#039;s really important to acknowledge her feelings. This will give her the tools to communicate early on. 

Say: &quot;You seem angry.&quot;
Or, &quot;You seem sad.&quot; 

Then, because she is just two, you can easily move into another activity. Get down on the floor with her. Roll around. Give her a pillow and let her &quot;hit&quot; you. 

Probably she needs to connect. 

And believe me, I know how exhausting this can all be!! You will soon have the most verbal, feeling, go-getting, smartest little girl running around!</description>
